About Me
Hi, and welcome to The Nourished Living Room!
My name is Michelle, and I’m so glad you’re here.
I'm a wife, mom, children's author, and follower of Jesus who believes that even the hardest seasons of life can produce something beautiful.
Growing up, I experienced poverty, loss, instability, and challenges that no child should have to carry. Yet through it all, God was planting seeds of faith, hope, and purpose long before I could see His hand at work.
Those experiences shaped my heart for children and families and eventually led me to a career in early childhood education, special education, and behavior analysis. Today, while I'm no longer working in that field professionally, those lessons continue to influence the way I approach parenting, faith, relationships, and creating meaningful resources for others.
Here you'll find a little bit of everything that fills my living room and my heart—faith, family, parenting, children's books, character-building resources, reflections on life, and encouragement for the journey.
Whether I'm sharing a printable activity, a lesson I've learned as a mom, a glimpse behind the scenes of my writing, or a story about God's faithfulness, my hope is always the same: to encourage others to grow in faith, find hope in difficult seasons, and remember that God is still working.
My prayer is that this space feels like a warm and welcoming living room where you can sit for a while, be encouraged, and leave feeling a little more hopeful than when you arrived.
Thank you for stopping by.
With love and grace,
Michelle
