About Me

Hi, and welcome to The Nourished Living Room!

My name is Michelle, and I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a wife, mom, and a passionate believer dedicated to creating a Christ-centered, intentional life for my family. Growing up in a single-parent home and experiencing the hardships of death, neglect, parental substance abuse, and poverty, I understand firsthand what it's like to face life's darkest moments. These experiences shaped my passion for supporting children and families, which led me to pursue a career as a preschool special education teacher and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

After years of working as a preschool special education teacher and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), where I supported children with unique needs and their families, I felt called to focus on my family, faith, and community. My background in behavior analysis and early childhood education continues to shape the way I approach parenting, creating nurturing environments, and fostering connections in our community.

Now, I enjoy building a home filled with love, grace, and intentionality—drawing from my background in early childhood education and behavior analysis to create nurturing, supportive spaces for my family and community. I strive to foster connection, growth, grace and faith in every interaction.

My prayer is that this space feels like a warm, inviting living room where we can grow in faith and fellowship together.

Pull up a chair, and let’s share this journey.

With love and grace,

Michelle
