The Giving Project: Because Every Child Deserves a Moment of Hope
But many do not have access to faith-filled resources that speak to their hearts.
Books have always been more than stories in our home — they’ve been moments:
- Moments of snuggling on the couch.
- Moments of calming big emotions.
- Moments of prayer and connection.
- Moments where faith has room to grow.
And then I started thinking…
What about the children who don’t get those moments?
What about the kids who feel anxious, lonely, uprooted, unheard, or unseen?
What about the kids who need comfort most?
That question became The Giving Project.
The mission is simple:
📖 Place faith-filled children’s books into the hands of kids who need hope the most.
Each $10 donation gifts 1 book directly to a child through schools, counselors, churches, shelters, foster programs, and community organizations.
But giving a book does more than send a story.
It creates a doorway.
A child sits with a parent, grandparent, foster parent, counselor, or teacher.
They read together.
They talk.
They feel safe.
They feel loved.
And that’s where faith begins to grow.
Before launching The Giving Project, I checked my website stats and saw that families have already been downloading the free activity worksheets I created — mazes, Scripture copy pages, word searches, and more.
That encouraged me deeply.
Kids want these stories — and adults want resources that help them pour faith into children.

Every $10 gifts one book.
Every book plants a seed.
And every seed can change a heart.
Thank you for being here — whether you give, share, pray, or simply follow along.
Your presence matters more than you know.
With love,
Michelle
